This workshop will prepare individuals for the 2020 Week of Prayer for Christian Unity with introduction to the Biblical theme of Acts 28:2 and resources, tips for organizing ecumenical worship services, hymn suggestions, bible studies and adaptations for children’s lessons. Julian Hammond is the Ecumenical Officer of the Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton. The Reverend Dr. Scott Sharman is the Ecumenical Officer of the Anglican Diocese of Edmonton and Dr. Faith Nostbakken is the Ecumenical Officer of the Evangelical Lutheran Synod of Alberta and the Territories.

Julien Hammond is the Ecumenical Officer of the Catholic Archdiocese of Edmonton. As an educator, activist and animator of ecumenical and interreligious relations, Julien works to advance unity, reconciliation, collaboration, understanding and respect among people of differing religious traditions.
Dr. Faith Nostbakken is a writer, an experienced retreat facilitator, and teacher on prayer and other spiritual topics across many Christian denominations. She is a trained spiritual director, who has actively practiced spiritual direction since 2006. Faith has been guiding participants through the Ignatian Spiritual Exercises on prayer since 2015.
Reverend Dr. Scott Sharman is the Ecumenical Officer of the Anglican Diocese of Edmonton. His teaching and research areas include: Christology, Ecclesiology, Ecumenism, Church History, Anglicanism, Eastern Orthodoxy, Vatican II, the thought of Karl Rahner, and the thought of Sergei Bulgakov.
