This weekend retreat will explore the Gospel’s teaching that freedom is found through a relationship with God through Jesus Christ.
Facilitator: Glen Argan
John’s Gospel contains our story of the journey from spiritual paralysis to freedom through believing. The human journey to freedom begins with an openness to truth, moves through a personal encounter with Jesus which sparks our believing and is fulfilled through courageous testimony in the face of opposition. This one-day retreat will immerse us in some of the characters in John’s Gospel and their own progress toward spiritual freedom. We will ask, how can I move out of spiritual paralysis into the freedom which God offers?
