Join us for this evening ritual with guided contemplative practice. We will draw on the work of Christian nature mystics to honour the summer solstice while exploring the myriad ways that the seasons of darkness and light provide rich soil for our inner spiritual experiences. Come prepared for guided meditation, thoughtful dialogue and meaningful ritual which will draw on ecology and explore the day’s length and the journey into the waning of the light.
This program is a partnership between Refugia Retreats and Star of the North Retreat Centre. Refugia Retreats is an eco-contemplative initiative that integrates the emotional, spiritual and mental health aspects of environmental and social justice conversations with personal and community contemplative practice. Jodi has a Bachelor of Sacred Literature, Master of Arts in Spiritual Leadership and a Certification in Spiritual Direction. She and Amy Spark co-created Refugia Retreats, an eco-contemplative initiative that integrates the emotional, spiritual and mental health aspects of environmental and social justice conversations with personal and community contemplative practice.
