An Earth Exchange is an event with elements of storytelling, community action, healing work, artistic expression, ceremony, and play. In this evening event, an exchange is made between people and place through which people can discover meaning and beauty in a place they might previously have seen as damaged or ordinary, while the place receives compassion and creativity from people who care about it. Join us in an Earth Day celebration to learn about the history of this unique place, the impact of human development and the ways in which we can continue to preserve and find joy in the area.
This program is a partnership between Refugia Retreats and Star of the North Retreat Centre. Jodi has a Bachelor of Sacred Literature, Master of Arts in Spiritual Leadership and a Certification in Spiritual Direction. She and Amy Spark co-created Refugia Retreats, an eco-contemplative initiative that integrates the emotional, spiritual and mental health aspects of environmental and social justice conversations with personal and community contemplative practice.
