Event Details

This is an in-person outdoor program (weather dependant) at The Star of the North Retreat Centre.

A 5-week series of outdoor urban gardening evenings with Clinton Porritt, combining ritual & reflection with hands-on good gardening practices and education around issues such as creation care and food security.

FACILITATOR:

Clint Porritt has 25+ years of faith formation experience through teaching, spiritual direction, and program development. He holds a Master of Theological Studies from Taylor Seminary. Clint is passionate about the intersection of spiritual formation, theology, creation-care, and social justice. He enjoys "making dirt" as part of his work with Star Garden: a cooperative project being developed through education around the ecologically sustainable practices of organic, deep-mulch, no-till gardening.
