Event Details

How do you nurture your inner sense of quiet, faith, and well-being in the midst of this fast paced world with its many demands? Is spirituality just another one of those ‘go-to’ fixes that you think of in a time of crisis but otherwise seems irrelevant? Is the earth itself crying out for those who are brave enough to sit down, be still, and take time for the sacred to emerge? If these questions interest you or there are others you would like to consider, please join us for this brief introduction to a contemplative practice called Centering Prayer. While grounded in the Christian tradition, Centering Prayer finds common ground with all faith traditions as well as with those of no religion who simply share a longing for inner silence and healing. Wherever you are on your spiritual journey, you are welcome to join us for this evening of exploration!

DETAILS:

Tuesday, October 29 from 6:30 - 8:30 pm at Star of the North Retreat Centre in St. Albert.

Pre-registration required. Suggested donation: $20.
