Using the Jesuit Forum for Social Faith and Justice newly published resource, Listening to Indigenous Voices: A Dialogue Guide on Justice and Right Relationships we will journey together on the path for action and change. As TRC Commissioner Marie Wilson says, “As we gather to contemplate next steps towards genuine reconciliation, we need to move beyond knowing and feeling. Tears and regret are not enough. Listening to Indigenous Voices

Event Details

Listening to Indigenous Voices explores Indigenous worldviews, examines the history of colonization, and concludes with sessions on righting relationships, decolonization, and indigenization. The guide features writings from authors such as Arthur Manuel, Beverly Jacobs, Niigaanwewidam James Sinclair, Sylvia McAdam Saysewahum, John Borrows, and Robin Wall Kimmerer, along with works from a variety of Indigenous artists including Christi Belcourt and Kent Monkman.

This dialogue series will meet every second Tuesday from 7:00-9:00 pm (MT) with Lucie Leduc. The online and/or in-house cost of $180 includes a copy of the book Listening to Indigenous Voices.
