What if we could get off the busy highway of the Christmas rush, and take a day in prayer, reflection, music, and space to breath? This day could allow our souls to catch up with us! Rest, rejuvenate, relax and reset! In the stillness of the desert, a message awaits. Prepare the way of the Lord!

Topics we’ll explore: 

• Our "Babylonian exile"
• So what’s with the "O" Antiphons anyway?
• O Come, O Come Emmanuel!
• A theology of lamentation
• Advent saints to ponder: Moses, Isaiah, John the Baptizer, Mary
• "People look east, the time is near"

FACILITATORS:

Bob and Joan Williston have travelled across Canada offering retreats and parish missions with the Redemptorist Mission Team. Bob is a singer/song writer, recording artist, a permanent deacon, husband, father of three, grandfather of three and presently residing in Lethbridge Alberta. Joan is an experienced retreat leader, mother, grandmother, and retired dental hygienist.
