Lectio for Lent

Are you looking for a Lenten practice to deepen your prayer life?  "Lectio Divina", a Latin term meaning "divine reading", describes a way of reading the Scriptures whereby we gradually let go of our own agenda and open ourselves to what God wants to say to us. Using this prayer form offers time for quiet prayer while focusing on Lenten readings. This retreat evening gives participants an opportunity to deepen their journey with God.  Participants may want to bring a bible.
