An Earth Exchange is an event with elements of storytelling, community action, healing work, artistic expression, ceremony, and play. In this evening event, an exchange is made between people and place through which people can discover meaning and beauty in a place they might previously have seen as damaged or ordinary, while the place receives compassion and creativity from people who care about it. Join us in an Earth Day celebration to learn about the history of this unique place, the impact of human development and the ways in which we can continue to preserve and find joy in the area.

Jodi Lammiman has worked as a community educator, wellness coordinator, youth pastor, retreat facilitator, artist and library worker. Connecting each of these experiences is a deep desire to understand the intersections between personal change and systems change, where people find meaning, and ways to create spaces that invite people into self-discovery through community ritual, dialogue, silence and solitude. Jodi has a Bachelor of Sacred Literature, Master of Arts in Spiritual Leadership and a Certification in Spiritual Direction. She and Amy Spark co-created Refugia Retreats, an eco-contemplative initiative that integrates the emotional, spiritual and mental health aspects of environmental and social justice conversations with personal and community contemplative practice.
