The Lenten journey is valuable, even if it can feel challenging. As believers and seekers focus on fasting, prayer, and giving, there is a natural reflective response of gratitude and growth. Join us for a weekend of guided reflections and meditations, silence and sharing, partaking and abstaining.

FACILITATORS

Lucie Leduc serves as Executive Director of the Star of the North Retreat House. In this role, she provides spiritual vision and direction for the center, oversees its day-to-day operations, offers Spiritual Direction, leads retreats and works collaboratively with the Board and staff to ensure the Oblate mission of the Star is fully lived out. Lucie is trained in spiritual direction, holds degrees in education and spirituality, and has been leading retreats throughout her 28 years in Oblate retreat ministry.

Joy Ronald serves as Program Director at Star of the North. A seasoned educator and school leader, she has taught and led programs around the world, from Alberta to Thailand. Joy brings a deep love of faith formation, creativity, and community to her work—especially in helping people encounter God afresh through important life seasons.
