Using simple, arts-based activities, you will be invited to recall, consider, imagine, and reflect on some of the stories that have shaped your life. This process will give you new insights into how you might approach the past, the present, and the future in ways that are soul-affirming and spiritually nurturing. Interspersed with distinct periods of rest, this creative weekend will help your spirit grow. No previous art-making experience necessary. Come to play and to rest!

This retreat also includes an evening of musical storytelling with Edmonton singer/songwriter Randy Ritz.

Event Details

Wenda Salomons is a spiritual director who utilizes the arts and nature with intention in her practice. Based in Edmonton, Alberta, she conducts arts-based retreats and offers individual spiritual accompaniment as well as maintaining her own art practice. She loves to companion and explore with others the movements of the Holy in this life.

Dr. Randy Ritz is an Edmonton-based songwriter, blues musician, educator, and storyteller. Known for his reflective songwriting and engaging performances as Dr. Blu, he weaves music, humour, and life experience into memorable presentations that invite listeners into deeper reflection, connection, and appreciation of the human journey.
