What does it mean to celebrate Christian unity in a divided world? The Epistle to the Ephesians proclaims that “there is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to the one hope of your calling.” Our present experience, however, is often one of tribalism, each doing what is right in their own eyes and life in shadows. In this retreat, in the week of prayers for Christian unity, we will study the Epistle to the Ephesians to explore God’s hopes for hospitality, integrity and glimpses of the light of God’s mysterious presence.
