In 2008, Star of the North was the grateful recipient of a Community Spirit Grant, offered by the Alberta government.  With the monies received from the grant we  purchased 25 chairs and 6 tables for two of our meeting rooms, the Genesis room and the Polaris room.  

Star of the north is fortunate to have a committed base of donors and this grant program enhances their giving, providing a powerful incentive for continued generosity.
We are pleased to be a contributing part of Alberta’s non-profit sector, offering services and programs that benefit peoples’ lives. This grant enables us to do so in a more effective manner.
